You can find the basic developmental screening tools in the screening module, however, your physician will be the one to give you a screening tool or recommend one based on your monitoring!

Development starts at birth! It’s important that you start monitoring development early to make sure that your child can receive earlier intervention if necessary!

You may not always have to be referred to an evaluation specialist via your physician. Many communities offer opportunities for getting developmental screenings, you can find this information in the CDC developmental screenings website. However, your physician will most likely be able to find the best resources for your needs at that given moment! It’s important to discuss your concerns if needed with your physician to find the best next course of action.
